Photoshoot preparation pointers:
In order for us to maximize our time together, I've prepared this little list
to help you prepare in advance.
Dress for the occasion. I always recommend organic feeling neutrals over bold colors and prints. Neutrals are elegant, timeless, classic and are more complimentary. Earth tones, creams, whites, grays, black, soft plaids, soft florals, hand knits, denim, etc., will show off you and your family's natural beauty. I recommend a min/maximum of two outfit changes per person.
Have an idea of the activities you would like to be photographed doing at home; flower bath with your baby, tending to the animals on your farm/ranch, baking or cooking together, tea party, dress up, playing music, art projects, brushing hair, tending the garden, sharing chores, playing outside, reading stories, etc. just to get the ideas flowing. Feel free to have any meaningful items you'd like included in the photographs, like an heirloom baby blanket, item of clothing or toy.
Have your on-location spot picked out and notify me in advance so I can be sure to have everything I need, including possible props.
Lets have fun!! I'm here to capture your special moments, and I'm so excited to share this with you!
